📘 SANKE — TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: 1 November 2025
These Terms govern your use of the Sanke Wallet browser extension (“Sanke”, “the Wallet”). By installing or using Sanke, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Open-Source Software
Sanke is released as open-source software and provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Anyone may review, fork, or reuse the code.
2. Non-Custodial Architecture
Sanke is fully non-custodial. You—and only you—control your private keys, seed phrases, or cryptographic proofs. Losing them means permanently losing access to your assets.
Sanke contributors cannot help recover lost keys or undo transactions.
3. Privacy & Local Verification
Sanke integrates privacy features and local verification mechanisms built on Kohaku, an open privacy stack developed under the Ethereum Foundation ecosystem.
While these features enhance privacy, no privacy system can guarantee complete anonymity.
4. No Financial or Legal Advice
Nothing shown in Sanke constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for decisions involving cryptocurrencies and associated risks.
5. Third-Party Protocols & Dependencies
Sanke may interface with blockchains, smart contracts, bridges, and third-party services. Your use of these systems is at your own risk. Sanke has no control over external services or their availability.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use Sanke in compliance with applicable laws
Secure your devices and recovery materials
Bear full responsibility for transactions authorized through your wallet
7. Updates & Changes
Sanke may update features, UI, or components over time. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanke contributors are not liable for:
